How do you begin to practice gratitude? First, by remembering that without it, your world is much darker and lonelier than it needs to be. Gratitude is the key that unlocks the joy that lives in your heart, hidden behind the anger, resentment and fear.
Keeping a gratitude journal doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, you don’t need to keep a “gratitude journal” at all. Just remember to add simple statement of thanks at the end of your daily journaling entry, a little reminder that there really is a silver lining behind every cloud.
